Putting the emphasis on the "shabby" in Shabby Chic is Cheap Cheap...shabby as in the "well-lived-in" look. Furniture here is generally low priced (cabinets and desks for under $50L) and a moderate number of of prims. Most of the wood furniture has a dark but lovingly worn texture. Tans, rose, and mauve dominate the color scheme.
Many items have poses attached, and some of the poses are quite whimsical (such as the desk, where one can fall asleep out of boredom while cramming for that final.
